The Way We Were: Remembering the '79 National Champions

The 1979 Ottawa Sooners were one of the most impressive squads in team history. Head coach Ace Powell led the group to the National championship with a 13-9 win over the Regina Rams at Ivor Wynne Stadium in Hamilton. Quarterback Duncan Anderson scored the lone touchdown for the Sooners. The championship was the 2^nd in club history.
